The right time to visit here is late autumn when eagles are seen by the hundreds. Fortunately we saw a few resident bald eagles which made the trip more worthwhile.

We didn't see any eagles but we walked the short trail and enjoyed the views. The information on the display boards was educational.

Finally visited the area after years of driving by and was most impressed. Information boards along the dyke let one know all about the eagles in the area. A great place to sit back and watch these great birds - The bald eagle!

Went on a rainy day in November. Even still we saw 7 bald eagles in a very short time. Parked across from the bistro and walked to the viewing area. Nice covered shelter with very interesting info. It is a beautiful spot.

Would have been better during the eagle run but this is still a gorgeous place for a peaceful walk. Will be going back in the late Fall to catch the eagles.

Bring a coffee or a bottle of wine and enjoy the beauty of Brackendale. Aside from Eagles swooping for fish you may also see seals, otters, bears, deer... Its one of my favorite walks.
