Take lots of water and snacks and go on a nice day. This hike is still doable in the rain but not as rewarding of a view if its overcast and also dangerous when wet. This hike requires sure footing and endurance, leave early to give yourself lots of time to make it back down with day light. You will... More

One that you have to do if you are visiting. It's a challenging route and can often be quite slippery but it is well worth it when you get to the peak. The first peak is the aim to get the view you need but head to the other two peaks as well to complete the challenge! If you can... More

This is a climbing rock. Unfortunately we saw it in the rain so no one was climbing. This was a nice stop on our way from Whistler to Vancouver.

It's a very steep hike up to the top but the views are worth it! The Chief is a huge granite dome that overlooks Squamish and the rewards for the hike is one of the best viewing platforms imaginable!

Peak 2 followed by Peak 1 and a Peak 1. An extraordinary ascension in forest, with hight steps, tree roots and big rocks. As a reward, a sensationnal panoramic view on the top with sunny skies. A feast for body and eyes 👍. Stawamus Chief is a very beautiful and pleasant trail for nature lovers and sports. No pain, no... More

610 meters up. Great day trip. To the top and back in 4 hrs. We ignored the weather forecast (rain). And were rewarded to sun and clear skies at the top. Build up you courage and do this hike
