If you are driving to Whistler or want a fun day trip, allow an hour to stop in Squamish at their Saturday Farmers market. Fresh scone and coffee, fruit from the interior of B.C. and lots of local artists and vendors. I picked up some BlackBerry Ginger and some Pineapple Habanero cordial to mix with sparkling water (maybe something stronger). You can have lunch and some fun people watching. TIP bring cash and a blanket or towel to sit on while you eat/rest. Bathrooms on site.

Cute little market with lots of things to eat . I had empanadas from the Argentinian stall. It was maxing. Very very delicious. Also the maple candy , a must to make n eat. One can also buy fresh vegetables n locally made jams. You also get entertained by the local artists who sing.nice way to spend time.

We were surprised at what a nice farmer's market this small town has! We purchased some amazing strawberry almond croissants from a vender called Rising Knead; delicious then and almost as good the second day.
The best were the savoury crepes we had being made by another vendor. They made them to suit and mine had a fresh egg cracked onto it and scrambled to cover it, followed by fresh goat cheese, ham cubes and green onions. This was then folded up to be a mouthwatering lunch. Look for them!
The venders had fresh fruit, high quality jams, heathy drinks and pottery. The entertainment was a three person band. If you are going through on a Saturday, definitely stop.

Usually this is my special treat on Saturdays to come to shop, support local businesses and enjoy wonderful fresh baked goodies and local grown produce. Today I left with a bad taste in my mouth. A MAPLE SYRUP vendor HAD TREATHENNED ME! The special was to get 3 items costing $10 each at a price of $27($3 discount). I opted for just 2 items so full price. The vendor ran my credit card at a $20.60. I questioned the .60 cents surcharge to which he had replied that its a charge for using my card. I then said that In this case I do not wish to proceed with the purchase. He did not know how to process a refund and could not get a hold of his boss. After standing under the rain for about 15-20 min I asked about my refund again and he abruptly told me that he does not know the solution so I should stand and wait or do whatever I wanted to do. I then proceeded to complain at the Farmers market organizer booth. Right away the vendor said he will give me my refund in form of cash. However, when I came to get the money he gave me a threattenning stare holding onto his money in the process and said: Beat it! Do not ever come here again!
I am shaken by this incident- surely enough to actually never come again. Not because He said so but because this stressful experience would be in my memory for a long time. I’d rather just go to a grocery store where I am welcomed and not stressed.

Wow, the Squamish Farmers Market is fantastic. Its on every weekend from May - October and then there is a winter market as well that moves indoors to the Westcoast Railway Heritage Park. The summer market has several vendors offering everything from baking, to veggies to jewelry and more. The market is great for the whole family and located right in the downtown core beside an awesome park so the kids can play while you enjoy the fresh fruit and coffee you just purchased at the market.

Tried a variety of food vendors and they did not disappoint! Highly recommend the hand shaved ice and also the Jamaican patty vendors! We should have bought more frozen patties to take home!

It's small but enjoyable. About 15 vendors and five food trucks when I attended on October 14th. Live band. The weather was chilly but there was still a fairly good turn out. There is a fall season starting November 4th. This beautiful area, town, and mountains are worth seeing as well.

The Squamish Farmers' Market is my go to every Saturday morning April to October. I enjoy talking with the local vendors and buying local produce and goods, especially Gauchos Empanadas.

We were loving some deck time at the pub next door when wafts of Kettle Corn came over on the breeze. That sealed the deal that we had to visit. After we bought some, we wandered around and were impressed by the various wares available. If you are lucky enough to be here when Pottery by Dave and Family are at a stall definitely check them out. Fantastic pottery!!!
