We have visited the Railroad Museum (now heritage park) for many years. The early years had a more rustic display of a lot of "work in progress". The exhibition has become well organized and exciting. Even if your are not an express railroad fan you...More

Not too far off the highway in Squamish, this museum is home to friendly staff, beautiful machines, fun miniatures (including a tiny rideable train), and a lot of history. The charm of the place shouldn't be underestimated. Definitely visit of you have the chance.

For the Day out with Thomas Event, is it possible to access the park, the facilities, the mini-train, the Imagination Station, etc. without purchasing a ticket to go on the actual Thomas train itself? My 3-yr-old last year loved everything last year except for the 20-min ride on on the actual Thomas car.
