My husband and I enjoyed our visit to this museum, which added to our knowledge of Canada's military aviation history. The outdoor display of aircraft is impressive. One suggestion: We would have liked to see more signage at some of the displays, which had little or not information about them.

Took a group of teens there. They seemed to quite enjoy it. I've been to many museums so on a scale of all them it wasn't spectacular but I can't compare them fairly to he met in NYC. As far as a smaller town museum it had a ton of stuff and the teens enjoyed the hands on activities.

I served at Greenwood in the 1960's and this was my first return visit and the first to the museum. Not disappointed at all. Very well laid out with everything possible to see from the old base.

The museum contains an excellent collection of artifacts representing the operational Squadrons based at Greenwood from their inception to the present. There are several interactive displays, including a flight simulator, an Argus tactical compartment and cutaway engines. In a separate section there are aircraft on display that can be entered and touched. Excellent for children and old pilots. The air... More

If you are into military avation and it's local area history this is the place to go. Free to get into although they love getting donations to help support its on going restoration projects. The museum also has some of the largest RCAF aircraft on display.

Great outdoor display of airplanes, including the famous WW2 Lancaster and the lesser known Canadian maritime plane the Canadair Argus! Inside the museum a large collection of uniforms, artifacts and many many more things. And the best of all: it is free! But of course you can leave a donation to support this great museum!

This lovely little museum has more packed in it than what you would expect. Lots of airplanes on display outside. There is NO ENTRANCE FEE to the museum. It is SELF GUIDED. Lots of interesting displays and stories. LOTS to learn. School age CHILDREN will find it interesting. The gift shop was closed while we were there. There is a... More

A fantastic, free outdoor attraction of various military planes of various vintages, purposes, and sizes, plus a chopper! Planes are displayed in an area where there is ample room to walk, or one can drive the perimeter. Planes are spaced so that there is plenty of room for pics! There is an easily-navigated walking path and benches are placed regularly... More

Best part, it's free... so off the bat that's great for a family outing that is free.. Cafeteria there is pricey and only so so ... the museum is small but there are some interesting things to see for an hour or two. Small flight sim for kids to play on. Some old planes in the parking lot. Over good... More
