We booked this back in the spring as we heard many good things. Arrowhead is an older provincial park. We had very high expectations after going to Kill Bear Last year. Overall it did not surpass our experience at Kill Bear but was decent enough. Maybe the weekend we went was a lot of rain and dampened our time there... More

Beautiful Provincial Park, we had such a wonderful visit. Large, private sites which fit our 35' trailer no problem. The beaches were clean and well kept, beautiful trails for bike riding and hiking, and the falls for a refreshing dip. The dog beach was so much fun for both our kids and dog. Very pet friendly, although they must be... More

Recently visiting the ice skating canal this winter at Arrowhead Provincial Park. If you've been to the Rideau Canal in Ottawa, it is actually very similar albeit smaller, which is understandable. The ice is actually better, looks like its regularly groomed by a zamboni. Great experience!

This is an excellent park. It's clean, spread out but easy to get around. It's clean and has amazing and stroller friendly walking trails. We took our 3 kids, 1,4&6 and stayed in an rv campsite that was the LAST spot available as we booked last minute. I couldnt' believe the park was full and it was still peaceful and... More

We took a trail through the Stubb Falls. It was a beautiful 45 minute walk. It was an ways hike. My son was 7 and he managed fine. Beautiful site when you got to the falls. Lots of people. Bring water shoes and bathing suit if you are interested in going in for a dip in the falls. We didn't... More

We have camped at Arrowhead numerous times over the last 25 years and have visited the park in all 4 seasons. We recently had 2 stays in July and both were excellent. The sites in East River and Roe campgrounds are very private and usually quiet. This is a park where you can park your car and never need to... More

Went here to swim in the lake and just relax. Clean beaches. Went in the morning before the crowds started to show up. Had a good time

Lots of campers go there. Hiking is not as good as Algonquin Park. The view from Big Bend is nice and there a lot of nice lakes there.

Visited two places;fall and the beach. Was good experience, payment needs for parking only. Beach was not crowded. Fall was really nice. Definitely recommended 👍

It's been a few years since we visited Arrowhead and we were happy to return. We stayed in the East River campground and were impressed with the privacy of our campsite. It was an easy walk from our campsite to the beach, which was uncrowded despite it being a holiday weekend. Arrowhead Lake was lovely and warm. Our campsite was... More
