The village reconstruction is nice even though not so many buildings can be seen. The museum itself is a weird mix of various topics. I would expect more focus there on the indians

This is fun place for families to go and learn about the history of the area. There is a well stocked gift shop full of great gift ideas. It is situated by Little Lake Park.

Cool place. I learned a lot about the heron culture. Really liked wig wam and tobacco information.cool that they showed respect to animals. They had a lot of cool customs. Lots of different tribes lived together in peace.

liked the indoor museum section better than the outdoor village. Outdoor village was self guided and I felt it could have used better signage to describe the sites. Indoor was quite interesting, especially the maritime section of photographs and ship models

We love local history museums like this. I would recommend this museum to get some background about the history of the Midland area.
