Myself and five friends canoed in to Massasauga for 4 nights in August. The trip was relaxing; we were only 12 km and two portages from the Three Legged Lake put-in location, and had no trouble bringing amenities. Our site (#200) was fairly isolated at...More

Went on a three day canoe trip from the three-legged access point. It is a beautiful park. We stayed on two different lakes. The campsite on Speyer was fairly low and poorly laid-out. Our other campsite was excellent. Both had thunder-boxes and good fire pits....More

I use the park often, using the Three-legged Lake access point. It's an accessible 'semi-wilderness' park perfect for a light/moderate canoe trip. There are two sides to the park - Georgian Bay is mostly the domain of motorboats. On the other hand, the interior lakes...More

We camped on the Massasauga campground this past summer. Fir a provincial park its pretty private. The campsites are well maintained and clean. A must for off grid loving campers. A gps Marine map is a great tool to have on board.

This is another beautiful area in the cottage country of Ontario. It can be the home to the rattle snake by the same name...best not seen on one of your walks.

If visiting Parry Sound area probably is because you came to visit Massasauga Provincial Park. If not, this is a "must", spend some of your time there, you won't be disappointed. It's amazing, you will feel the essence of the nature.

Massassauga Park is my favourite backcountry camping spot. It's beautiful and close to home. Entered at Pete's Place and headed for Wreck Island site 325. It's a little tricky to navigate to but plan on at least 2.5 hrs to paddle there. To my surprise...More

yes, just interior camping. many sites are canoe access only. Georgian Bay sites are accessible by powerboat also. Nearby Ostler Lake is car access camp sites.
