This is a cool little aviation museum and a great choice for a rainy day. Note - the outdoor museum is closed if there is thunder/lightening. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and were very helpful. This would get a 4 star rating if we didn’t have little kids with us - there could be more activities for children.

If you love history and/or aviation, this is the place to visit. Lot to learn about Canadian aviation history and the artifacts were amazing. Right beside the Air Force base, it is a great museum.
For $10 per adult, it's a fair price to support a good cause in preserving history.
Spent less than 2 hours here for a great outdoor walk and good indoor display.

We had tenders a dinner function at this location. Prior to the dinner being served, we were allowed to wander through the exhibit and the airplanes located in the building. There are many replicas, as well as working models and simulators. There was displays on both the second and first floor.

Located right next to the Air Force Base you'll see planes zipping overhead while you enjoy your time there.

There is lots to see, new stuff includes an Olympic gold medal, the bear in a new location and you can catch a glimpse of the giant plane they are restoring.

As of March 2022 they still require masks and proof of vaccination.

Located in the heart of Trenton's Airbase this a must see regardless of where you live!

It's reopened and they have taken all the COVID precautions, arrows on the floor, limiting visitors, etc.

They also have the bear hidden, you have to be crafty to find him!

The outdoor display is also open.

Not sure about a Wi-Fi, but there are a TON of Pokemon stops and gyms!!!

Great place to visit on both a rainy and a sunny day! It is large and spacious. They have arrows on the floor directing traffic; as far as COVID goes it is perfect! Not too busy, lots to see and do.

The flight trainers are currently closed.

They still have the bear search challenge with a very cool reward when you find him!

The outside displays are also very cool!

Great way to learn about the beginning and ongoing Air Force in Canada. While there, we were able to witness training going on in the skies above, which was pretty cool, definitely makes you proud. The planes are pretty cool and the volunteers at this facility are amazing, knowledgeable and very helpful. The price for entry is unbelievably low. Since the government doesn’t help in the efforts to restore these planes it’s an amazing place that we have. Great way to spend the day. It’s open and airy, and surprisingly they do not need to see vaccine certification for COVID. All COVID protocols are in place, therefore some things are not available. Enjoyed it a lot!

This place is amazing. We went on Jul 31 and even my kids had a good time. Great staff. Cafeteria is clean and has a wide choice of sandwiches and the price is reasonable. The only thing I don’t like it’s the smell of the gasoline inside the premises from one of the planes. Overall we had a great time.

We visited the CFB Trenton area during the month of June 2012. I must admit I was very impressed by the display and layout of the National Air Forces Museum of Canada. My visit was short as I was only able to spent roughly 2 hours....however, I was so impressed that I will make sure that I have ample time to see and feel the exhibits that are on display. I am a former Canadian Armed Forces retiree and I have served in the Army, Navy and Air Force for over 25 years. I must say that I felt so proud to have served after viewing this wonderful tribute to all Canadians who had the opportunity to do their part. Great job for everyone who contributed their ideas and to those who donated special family items which are now displayed for all to see. Thank you all so very much.........

I came to the mesuium with a group while in town. The tour guide was fantastic and the boys had a great time seeing all the planes. It wasn't until we were about to leave, I was in the gift shop with 4 of the hockey players (who were part of the group ) I wanted to take a picture of the boys holding a souvineer she rudely raised her voice at me and said " I guess your going to buy those since you took a picture " giving me a snotty look. I was appauled by her tone and body language. The boys were holding a suvenier that was 4.00 I was going to purchase one of them but not after she spoke to me that way. I asked her what her name was and she told me to speak to her manager. He's in on Monday. I am disgusted and unfortunately because of her behavior I will not be speaking highly of this place unless I am certain that she is spoken to.
