I tried cross country skiing here for the first time this year near the end of the season when Schneider Farm's hills were getting too icy. The fairy flat groomed and track set trails were actually quite nice for a good work out. I used...More

Took the family on the various trails within the Conservation Area, we enjoyed the various trees and animals that were around. The trails were not to difficult to manage and there is also kayak and canoeing available for those who wish to partake. We had...More

The main attraction of this place must be the many trails that one can explore on bike or on foot. To me this is a place to visit is early to late summer as it can be a wet and muddy experience otherwise.

Have visited many times, and recently kayaked on the lake. It felt like I was up north, like a little vacation close to home. Not sure about swimming, but come for a nice walk or to sit by the water. Its a treasure right in...More

It's wonderful to have this gem of a conservation area right in the heart of the city, really. Taking a quiet walk on the trails and just listening to the leaves rustle, the birds calling, or the frogs plopping into the nearby water does the...More

very nice and close way to get away from everything. Decent beach early in the season, and camping was ok. Good trails, and lots of carp in the river. Have seen deer and large turtles.
