We were there at the end of a dry summer season and enjoyed walking through the narrow gorge mingling with the locals and watxching the daredevil rock climbers .

Lovely walk with my family. It was appropriately long and challenging that our little one felt like an adventurer, but I was not concerned for her safety. Gorgeous scenery.

A relatively short hike up a spectacular river canyon (took 2 hours round trip) which gave us a taste of wilds of Rockies. River bed was dry in summer but probably is a raging torrent in spring. Only 10 minute drive from Canmore on Bow...More

We came here with our toddler. There were a few spots that were a little challenging for the little one, but we'll come back again anyway! We almost missed the pictographs on the Canyon wall, thankfully someone pointed them out to us! The waterfall at...More

This was a bit of a weird year. No rain x 100+ days= dried up creeks or only a trickle. I went with 2 young kids - and they could do the hike no problem. We went on the trail, but went for a while...More

If you want something a bit different than the majority of the hikes, give this one a try. Starts out poorly....next to a factory. But, once past that, it was great. Slot canyon and walking on rocks. Kids would enjoy.

We spent an hour walking up the gravel path with nothing to see or hear but the huge magnesium power plant. After an hour of this we cut our losses and walked back.

Beautiful place for a hike. Close to the city. Wonderful views. Nice easy hike for all ages. Can visit any time of year. For the more adventurous there are plenty of places here for rock climbing as well.

Ease hike for the whole family. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. A hike you can do on your own without a tour.

As you are walking up the canyon, they will be on your left side as you enter the last section of the canyon right before the waterfall. They really are easy to miss...we had them pointed out to us!
