Beautiful view

A friend brought us here for a hike and picnic and it is a beautiful sight. There are picnic tables around. Very peaceful and loved it! Will be back next summer!

Beautiful spot and nice road to lakes. The visitor center was informative and well done. The road is a great motorcycle road. Nice side trip.

We have been here twice, the ridge below the parking lot is a good place for picnics as there are tables and BBQ pits. Further along is a small beach from which to launch dinghies across the lake to the split (if visible) and more exploration. To the left is a path that leads to an hour's hike toward a... More

Breathtaking view of the mountains and the turquoise waters. Definitely a must-see when visiting Kananaskis country.

My wife and I have not been up to Kananaskis Lakes for years but we won't let that happen again. We took our Kayak with us and the first couple of lakes we stopped at were very windy. We thought we would check out the Kananaskis lakes and the Upper lake was calm so we kayaked along most of the... More

We took the gravel road up to the lake and even the drive is beautiful. It is so quiet up there. Although we went in peak season we did barely see any people around.

Easy family hike. Go as far as you feel you're able, then return. Nice lake views and wooded pathways.

Went here on a Friday afternoon, beautiful views. Did a 10k hike and it was breathtaking. Would definitely go back. Looked great for kayaking and canoes as well

this is an absolute "find". We drove many miles from Canmore to see this spot. It's not a typical tourist spot, it's quite beautiful and peaceful.

Just that you know, it is a lovely picknick area and also several hikes normally can be done from here, but please be aware that most trials are closed at the moment due to bear activity. Also the Panorama route was completely closed. We pickened thus here and did the Marl Lake trial which was open and not far away... More
