A great opportunity to see the town and take a relaxing walk. Very convenient access from downtown and links you with a large number of walking trails around town.

This is a very easy, relatively short nature walk that is great to do with kids. There's a little spot by the bridge that allows kids to get right down near the water and throw rocks until their heart's content.

This is a simple walk through Canmore with the most beautiful views. We started at the "big head" and ended somewhere downtown (didn't really pay attention). We walked over an old train bridge which was gorgeous. The walk is easy, mostly on very flat ground, and well marked. A great way to get to know Canmore!

Whenever we're in Canmore(at least once a week) we walk this boardwalk. No matter what time of year it is a gorgeous walk .there is boardwalk loop along the river of you can connect to other trails too.

A nice creek stroll/trail; great views. Best part is, it is right downtown. One of four trail walks around the town of Canmore.

This is a nice walk if you want to get familiar with local Canmore foliage/trails. This boardwalk connects to a network of others trails. The boardwalk portion of the trails is quite small. We walked the boardwalk and then decided to walk a few other trails. The boardwalk itself takes about 20 min to walk. Its pleasant if you just... More

Picked up a brochure on Canmore at my Calgary hotel. It included info on various hikes in and around the town, including this one. This particular walk is more of a stroll, and certainly not a hike, but it is do-able by practically anyone. Great for seniors who are looking for a surefooted pathway. Nice for families, and stroller friendly.... More

An easy 30 minute walk along the boardwalk, in near perfect weather. Mountains all around, a stream along side, a perfect place to slow down.

The boardwalk along Policeman's creek is very easy to navigate. It starts at main street (the big head is the north side) and continues down to the Silvercreek area. You can return on the same side or cross the creek and walk back on the other side. Either way it is enjoyable with the creek and its inhabitants gently passing... More
