Awesome hike would strongly recommend. Not too difficult and great views of the lake. Rocking climbing at the top. Crystal clear water in the lakes up top.

No idea why this hike is listed as beginner...but it's fabulous. Do not go the "easy route" as there is nothing to look at. If you opt for the "difficult" (which....anyone one of any fitness level can do) it is much more scenic and satisfying....More

We always love visiting Grassi Lakes, winter or summer. Now the lakes are fully melted and can clearly see the bottom of these glacial lakes. The colour come alive when the tees foliage reflects of the water. We took the ‘easy’ route up and down,...More

I am by no means an overly fit person, but I managed the “more difficult” hike just fine. I did have to stop at some points as the last parts are pretty steep, but if you take it at your own pace, you should be...More

My wife and I brought our 11 month old through the “hard” way and it was no problem. This is a great easy hike that only takes about 45 minutes up and the views are incredible. One of my favorite short hikes in the Rockies.

My husband and I did this hike on a Saturday morning. We got there about 7:45, and no one was in the parking lot, kind of made me nervous to be the first ones out there because we didn’t bring bear spray, but we made...More

I enjoyed the today, the trail is well maintained, the lakes at the end are beautiful. It was also remarkably busy. A nice hike on a beautiful afternoon.

This is a lovely place to hang out on a summer day, have a swim, play some catch. Bring sunscreen, because the altitude means you're going to fry in 30 minutes!

Easy hike with some Great Lake views at the top. Often can see rock climbers as well. Not sure about winter but still good for spring-shoulder season.

I don’t think you can take a bike there , it is still up the hill and some moments gets really steep for bike .
