We tripped across the Centre and were very happy to find a biathlon competition underway. There were teenagers, ladies, and young male groups "skiing" the loops and shooting at the targets. It was actually terrifically enjoyable to watch all this action while contemplating what it...More

Very bad signage for the walks we wanted to do. There were a few groups of people wandering around because the signs for nearby walks were unclear

We had a blast going out with Gaby for a few hours of mountain biking. She was a brilliant guide, catering for the different levels and confidence of each family member. My boys said that this was one of the highlights of their whole trip...More

This place is fantastic! Mountain Biking, Hiking, Olympic Events. They cater to everyone from novice to pro. My sons (20s) and I (50s) rented Mountain bikes and spent 2+ hours exploring the trails. We are pretty fit, but novices at Mountain Biking. The staff helped...More

Great views and clearly a favourite with families and their bikes or to explore the trails on ski's. Also saw a group of children enjoying the shooting range for bi athletes. But as a person with limited mobility I found it difficult. Took the children...More

It's beautifully set up above Canmore, near the Three Sisters. A great place to hike from in the warm months, and so much to do in the winter months. Anyone who is a fan of the Winter Olympics should see this. And for weddings it...More

Awesome place which reminds me the Vysocina Arena in Czech Republic. Numerous trails maintained in every season for any aktivity from ski, through trail running to the biking. Do not have your gear with you? No worries, there is a rental shop.

Hello Mary Ann Last March Canmore had 30cm of snow on average. If you could book for early March you have a much better chance of good snow. Hope this helps and you enjoy Canmore as much as I did.

The trails marked Green are kid friendly. Some of the Green paths are paved and mostly flat. You will find maps inside the visitor centre.
