"Napa Valley North", that is the name I gave the entire Okanagan Valley arriving in 1989

We lived here in the Okanagan Valley since 1989, From Salmon Arm to Osoyoos, I actually do know about every corner, both sides of the valley's main river, its many lakes and mountains. The amazing agricultural venues from orchards, vineyards to wineries, golf courses, quaint small towns to work and live, retire or visit. This is an incredible beautiful, ever... More

It was quite a climb to drive to the look out, but well worth stopping. There was a clear view covering several miles of valley, including across the border into the USA.

This lookout is convenient to get to as it is right next to highway 3. It is located on a hairpin curve with a divided median so you can only enter the parking area if you are travelling eastbound on highway 3. If you are travelling west bound towards Osoyoos, you probably have to go past it and find a... More

The lookout was easy to miss as there is no sign. We weren't sure whether where we stopped was the right place, but it was a nice view from there.

It's the safest place to stop and soak in the view of the entire valley. Careful around the switchbacks. At sunset and at night the view is beautiful as well. There is no seating, you just pull over and look over the cement barrier. If they made a small deck it would be lovely.

Even if you aren't heading further east, it is well worth heading out of town a bit to be able to take in the excellent view from the lookout. You get a great view of Osoyoos Lake in its entirety - the Canadian and US sections. At night the lights are great and on clear nights the stars are spectacular.

Quite the drive up there, but the view is excellent. We weren't familiar with the landscape, so after the viewpoint we continued on the road. If you don't have a set destination forward, don't do that - there's nothing else to see.

This lookout is by far one of the very best in the Okanagan Valley. It offers breath takings views of Osoyoos Lake and amazing overviews of orchards and vineyards in valley below. Well worth the trip and stop.

From that small spot on the mountain, by the highway, you have a beautifull view of the lake and the valley.

You can see from the USA border to almost Oliver. We went during the day and also at night to see the Perseids meteor shower. You can only access it from the highway coming out of town, as the highway coming into town has concrete barriers up to prevent accidents.
