The Nk’mip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

Wey' Lim Limt (hello and thank you) for visiting the cultural centre and leaving us a review. It is an excellent suggestion to dress accordingly as we have just recently had a taste of summer weather and it can get very warm out there.

The museum had lots of neat information. Unfortunately the theaters were both under renovation- but the staff gave us a discount because of the renovation! Definitely a good trip! Probably best if there is nice weather-no rain! Want to come back in the summer when...More
