We had our medieval wedding in the lodge here. Perfect backdrop and atmosphere. There is a lovely loop to hike even with the family. Pack snacks for younger ones as it can take awhile. Trails are fairly well marked but could be better. We have...More

Hiked up to Upper and Lower Knolls following days of heavy rain. Trail was in good condition. Watch for exposed roots, wet rocks and water on the trail. Lovely day hike. While the trail is rated as easy hike, there are a few moderate portions....More

Looking for a new and interesting bit of nature, we happened upon this amazing park that has some wonderfully interesting history. Another gem hidden away in the TriCity area.

We actually had our Medieval wedding here. Loop trail with look out points with spectacular valley views is a wonderful walk around the lake. Do be watchful of bears especially in the fall. If you are lucky you might even see a beaver.

We love to go to Minnekhada park and enjoy their various trails. We bring our kids and dog and love to get "back to nature" and see all the wildlife. There are various well marked trails that take you around the small reserved grassland.

Can I take a fishing in the lake?

Hi, Alex. There is only a small marshy area - with no fishing - within the park, but the east side of the park borders on Pitt River, which has good fishing. Don't forget your BC fishing license!
