My favourite section is the Japanese Garden - when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The petals fall on the water feature, giving a wonderful sense of calm and peacefulness. Being a local, it's easy to stop by and wander the gardens for 15 or 20 minutes ... a hidden oasis - always rejuvenating. As a tourist attraction it's not... More

The park is uniquely located at the corner of a retail center. We thought we were in the wrong location when we first drove up. The park is not overwhelming in size, but we can appreciate what a nice diversion it is for those who live in the area. The hardscaping was extensive and you can sense that they are... More

The gardens are a mere shadow of their former selves (basically back before the distillers moved out of North Vancouver). Moderately interesting if you have a few moments in the neighbourhood and want to chill for 5-10 minutes. Definitely not a destination.

If you're stopping by the mall for coffee or food, make sure to swing into the gardens. Excellent display of a huge array of plants both native and non-native to the area. Always something new to see no matter what time of year. And being free, the price can't be beat!

This free local park has been in existence since 1969. Last time I was here it seemed much larger, but that was 30 plus years ago. If is still a very pleasant area to visit and walk around. It is located in the corner of the Park and Tilford mall; bordering a busy street. It has several water features, a... More

Living near this gem of a garden makes it easy to drop in weekly or more to see what is in bloom, coming up or starting to fade away. The gardens staff do a wonderful job year round, are very approachable if you have questions about something they have or your own garden plantings and the P & T plant... More

At least the price is good- free! Apparently this used to be a much larger major attraction decades ago. What is left today is small but very pretty and a pleasure to walk around. It must have been amazing long ago, now it's cut in half and surrounded by highway and shopping mall. Progress.

Park & Tilford Gardens is a place I will always go to to waste time before a movie at the Park & Tilford theatre. The gardens are well maintained and are free. The lights they put up in the winter are fantastic and a great place to stroll through. It's not a must-see, but a great place to go for... More

So many beautiful flowers, plants, trees all set out into different areas such as Japanese, Canadian and much more. Great fountains all around and lots of benches to sit on. Gorgeous through December and the New Year when they put lights up on all the trees and surroundings. Love it.

My wife and I visited this Park in early March and it was just after several days of rain. This was a great place to visit now but will be much better in a month or so when more of the plants are in full leaf or bloom.
