If you're staying in Vancouver and looking for an inexpensive day trip, this is the place to go! The park is completely free - including the suspension bridge and a 30 ft. deep water hole you can jump into! I stayed at the SameSun Backpacker Lodge. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the station, where I took the... More

This park is a short drive from Vancouver and a lovely break from the city. There is a wide variety of hiking options for all levels. We had a great time watching all the people jump from the cliffs.

It's Free and fabulous. The only negative is the parking can be a little hectic and scarce; but oh well, it is worth the visit!

This canyon is very free to visit and well shaded. The suspension bridge is free and safe not far from parking. There are several walking loops that you can travel on. Bring a picnic and find a place along the river to relax.

Lynn Valley Park has an ecological centre near the park. It is worth a visit. Walk a bit further (a minute or two) and you will get to the nice new cafeteria where a short trail leads to a suspension bridge over Lynn Canyon with water falls rushing below. We took our 2 and 4 year old Grandsons down the... More

Nice area for outdoor activities and a nice getaway from the city. There are many different hiking trails available for all levels, as well as the river for some swimming.

My husband and I spent a short afternoon in Lynn Canyon Park. One of the trails led down to a canyon river and the water looked amazing, unfortunately, my husband has bad knees and we did not climb the 50 or so steps to the bottom. We decided instead to make the trek around the small lake, which was more... More

I didn't know what to expect of this place, other than the suspension bridge. I had only planned to spend 2 hours here and when we had finished crossing the suspension bridge, I thought that it was way too much time. Boy, was I wrong. I didn't realize how large the park actually was. We took the trail up to... More

It is easily accessible by transit but driving can be an issue if you don't go there early during the summer. What I like is that there is no admission, you just walk in. The suspension bridge is over a raging gorge. There is a coffee shop/small restaurant on site. The park is tucked away but it gives people the... More
