What a great park so close to the city. Bring some water. If you can, bring some food and make it a picnic. We hiked for an hour and had a blast. If you have hiking poles you wont be sad you brought them either.

A lovely park, well maintained with a suspension bridge to rival capillano [and free, except for car parking] but you must be fit and mobile to cope with the many steps. But a good day out.

This park is a hidden gem -- tucked away in a residential neighborhood, with beautiful hiking trails, a delightful suspension bridge and waterfalls -- and it's FREE! Highly recommend heading here for at least half a day when you are in Vancouver.

One of my favorite places we visited in Vancouver. It is absolutely beautiful! There are so many trails, you can easily spend an entire day here. If you visit, you will not be disappointed.

This was the first time I went to this park and I'm definitely come back. In comparison with Capilano suspension bridge I think this is better considering the fact that you will save $30 CAD of course that Capilano bridge is way longer and spacious....More

Yes, all the trails make a loop, so you can get there, but it is a much longer route to go there and back instead of making the loop. But the entire park is gorgeous, so would be a nice hike. And yes, MANY stairs as... More

Mosquitos are seldom a problem in Vancouver as there is cold running water and/or salt water, unless you are hiking in a solid bush and the trails in Lynn Canyon are well cleared.
