Just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, Grouse Mountain attracts locals and tourists alike. During the summer, guests enjoy hiking, Zip Line Adventures, paragliding, sightseeing, lumberjack shows and more. In winter, we have skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides among many other activities. Grouse Mountain also features several different dining venues, from café style at Lupins to casual dining at Altitudes and fine dining as a guest at The Observatory. We also have a refuge for endangered wildlife.

Snow in Winter, hiking in summer

It is really near to the city, you can snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding or just hiking through the snow. In the summer you can hike up there. Views are amazing.

BEST.ACTIVITY.EVER = snowshoeing at Grouse Mountain. No joke. Getting to the top of Grouse Mountain is a pain - the lines for the gondola are long, unorganized and short-staffed. The gondola itself is claustrophobically crowded but the views are gorgeous, even when it is snowing outside. The top is often times windy, but the equipment rental place is a short... More

We have taken people to Grouse Mtn.a few times. It's not cheap but today it made our trip. We took 15 people from the tropics, one had never seen snow. though all were 50+ they had as much fun as childern in the snow. snow balls were thrown a free sliegh ride was taken and snow angels were made. The... More

Stretch well, if you're up for the hike. It's BRUTAL ON THE KNEES to hike down, so take the thing that dangles ... might hurt those with height sensitivities *ahem* but look around and enjoy the world!

We rode to the top of Grouse Mountain and spent several hours taking in all there is to do up there. The lumberjack show, the owls, the bears, the view. This is a no-brainer, must-see, and everything up top is free once you pay for the gondola ride up.

So wonderful to read about your experience on the Mountain! There is so much to do in the Summer months and it sure sounds like you fit in nearly everything. Grinder and Coola are certainly the stars of our show, glad you were able to see them. Appreciate you writing this review, hope to see you again on the Mountain. More

I planned a large group of beginners for skiing and snowboarding and this was a nice small place to get them started. The layout is not the best because you have to walk through a snow path in order to get from the lodge to the ski rental and also have to go quite far (in my opinion) to get... More

My dad and I took the tram up and had a great time. It is pretty expensive if you are just doing it for the ride to the top like we did and paid around $80 total USD. The ride up and down is about 10 mins or so each way. Try and get a spot near the front or... More

I was amazed at the ease of getting to this ski resort from downtown Vancouver by public transit and how once there, it completely changed the environment! Took the ferry and then a city bus and was at the Tram within 40 minutes. With near record snowfall this winter, it was awesome. Went snow shoeing and took the trail to... More

We took the free shuttle bus from Canada Place. By the time you have paid for the various attractions and the Skyride you know this is an all day affair. Unfortunately we did not take our sunblock, when you are up the mountain in the summer, the rays of the sun are strong and my arms were burnt. So much... More

This is a great place for thrill seekers! The views are fantastic, and the zip lining is supreme!! This was the first place that I ever zip lined and no where else compares! Soaring high in the mountains with views out over the water and city, this is a place that can't be beat! If you're a hiker and or... More
