Steveston is a neat place to visit. Go between Fri-Sun as the fishing boats dock to sell their fresh supply of seafood. The stores in and around Steveston are worth visiting... there's an old fashion wood burning oven bakery called Country Bread on 3680 Moncton...More

Our tour launched from here. Excellent orcas whale watching trip. Nice, clean Harbor town. We went out with Vancouver whale watch. Please see our companion review of them. Highly recommended.

We spent several hours here wandering around the board walks, discovering old artifacts on display in the buildings. The day we visited it was a lovely summer day and the gardens were at their peak. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to.

Steveston Village is truly a wonderful place to spend an afternoon! Beware that everything is overpriced, but if you look around well you might find some good spots that don't "feast on Turists"

Steveston is part of Richmond and is accessible by public transit. We've had friends visit from Burnaby with no car.
