It's the small monastery without monks. It has good-looking church and old-style bell tower. The monastery is located on the high bank of the Moscow River. Monastery's founder was St.Ferapont, who was the abbot of the monastery in Beloozersk in Vologda region (UNESCO attraction). St.Ferapont's relics are in the monastery church.

In nearby village Isavitsy is a holy spring. Holy spring is more popular with locals than the monastery.

Under the monastery, you can swim in the river.
