My husband, myself and my in-laws were introduced to Auckland with expert tour guide David Hill a few days before Christmas. It was obvious from the first few minutes of the tour that David was passionate about his city, Maori culture and everything to do with New Zealand. We walked and talked about the history and overall culture for a... More

David was superb. So knowledgable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and the tour of Auckland. We even learnt information that our Auckland friends didn't know! The tour brings you through a mix of buildings, locales and historical sites. This is truly a wonderful tour and David is an excellent guide. We have recommend this tour to others in... More

We did the Auckland Martime Experience. Our guide’s name was David. We got a great three-hour lesson on Auckland’s maritime history, including a guided tour through the Maritime Museum and a hour trip out into the bay on the Ted Ashby schooner. This was a great way to learn about the city.

This outfit took us around, because our time was restricted. they are wonderful and so informative We fed seagulls at the end of Hamer street and strolled the Viaduct basin.....the harbor front is lined with restaurants and exudes an air of sophistication. We set on the timber deck, ice cream in hand, admiring the yachts resting in the harbor, and watched adventurers freefall from... More

This was our first activity in a three-week visit to NZ, booked in part to keep us awake after a long flight from Toronto via Vancouver until our hotel room was ready. What an introduction to the country. From David, we got geology, history, flora, fauna, Maori culture, architecture, a splendid walk through the CBD, Albert Park and the University... More

My husband and I arranged for this walking tour when we arrived in Auckland on the Celebrity Solstice. We didn't have anything planned for the day, and booked this tour at the i-Site Visitor Centre near the port. We met our guide, Dave, about 20 minutes later, and found out that we were the only ones booked on the tour.... More

This walking tour took us along the waterfront and throughout a large section of downtown Auckland. Our guide Terry was very friendly. He patiently answered all of our questions. We then ended up at the Skytower, which was quite impressive. All in all, this tour was well worth the money.
