Excellent, scenic 360 views of Auckland plenty of picnic spots, a lot of history. Visit this place on a sunny day, pack a lunch and dont forget a camera

energetic walk to the summit but the views were well worth the walk. quite a few interesting things to look at like the toadstools and the disappearing gun.

They have music some evenings. The walk is a bit difficult but short. You can see the city and enjoy the vegetation.

We visited on a Thursday afternoon in July on a cold day. We drove to the top, but you can also walk up. There are amazing 360 degree views of the Auckland area. Free! Easy!

Park your car mid-way up the mt then walk the rest of the way to the top. Watch the 15 mins video on the history of the area. Excellent place to walk or track. A fantastic view of the Auckland CBD skyline.
