Took the ferry over from Auckland, then hiked up Mt Victoria. Very peaceful at the top, although tour groups do come and go. Good place to sit and enjoy the view.

This is a straightforward walk about 15 mins from ferry dock. Lovely views from the top and a bit of history thrown in as well

We drove up on our last wet morning in Devonport. Although it was still a bit misty, the views of Auckland were great and must be absolutely stunning on a good day.

This was once, out top place to drive up, with visitors from all over the world, to see the view. This never happens now, because of the silly rule stopping cars. When walking is not possible, this is a memory view only.

In general I am so in love with Devonport, such beautiful area with the spirit of the old days, and mount Victoria offers a fantastic amazing view of Auckland, sky tower, etc. Also a lot of historical things to see from WW. Definitely worth the check.

It takes only 15mim from Devonport pier to Mt Victoria. The way of Mt. Victoria is a very steep hill, however finally when you reach top of the hill, you see how beautiful landscape which is Auckland city and Devonport island.
