I can't believe I haven't come across this gorgeous house before, but don't think it's well publicized. The house is an architectural gem, oozing character and Tudor features as well as sympathetically constructed extensions. It is set our beautifully and we were free to wander at our leisure in most of the rooms. All the staff were extremely welcoming and... More

I have been visiting Bramall Hall for decades. In the last couple of years it has undergone an expensive restoration. The work has been brilliantly carried out and the place is well worth a visit. Further, the addition of a new cafe complex and the installation of a new, well equipped playground makes it a perfect family venue. My granddaughter... More

Bramall Hall is great for a leisurely family walk. Is it very pretty and lots to see and do. The climbing frames were fun for the children. Very picturesque.

Really looked forward to visiting, but although the building is lovely and interesting, we were in a party and had a guided tour and the young lady wasn't the best guide we've ever had. She spoke almost in a whisper and most of our group didn't hear a thing which rather spoiled the visit. A good guide should be able... More
