Walking round a house where the Royal family spend their Christmas was such a privilege and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are lovely and it is more of a family home than a museum, which makes is special.

The price is good value. You get to see a relatively small number of rooms in the house. The grounds are splendid and extensive and you have full freedom to enjoy them. The rooms you see are very evocative of the Queen's private life, so...More

I visited Sandringham gardens under the RHS partner Gardens scheme, where RHS members get in free. The gardens are well laid out, with a pleasant woodland walk around the perimeter of the property, during which a pheasant scuttled out of the undergrowth in front of...More

We had a great day out visiting Sandringham House. On arrival the thing that stood out was the peacefulness, and the pigeons cooing in the pine trees. Car parking was good and free, and there is a large open area where visitors can have picnics...More

Went on a visit with school children who were enthralled by the house and cars. Definitely worth a visit. The grounds alone would be beautiful to spend a day in, exploring, reading, relaxing. Huge needs a good few hours to enjoy the splendour of it...More

My partner and myself visited the house today and really thought the extra expense was worth paying. The staff were pleasant and extremely knowledgable answering all questions. Would highly recommend a visit.

As Wendy N said, it is well worth contacting Deborah, who holds the Sandringham catering franchise. I don't think that there is a separate facility, but I'm sure she would re-arrange the seating in the restaurant for... More
