I've wanted to catch Brett Dennen in concert for sooo long, so I was thrilled to learn he would be performing at the Center! Great acoustics, an intimate setting, and reasonably priced seats make this an outstanding venue. The show was amazing!! Hope you guys will bring him back again! Looking forward to future performances here.

While the interior and the performances are state of the art and world class, undeniably, regarding its role as a working part of the community I have some misgivings. Even on non event nights, the parking is woefully inadequate. And the architecture is not in keeping with the flavor of the region, especially considering our renown as a destination for... More

We attended a benefit concert starring Vince Gill. Here are the things that surprised me (pleasantly). There were multiple places to sit down during the pre-concert wine reception. Strangers speak to you, in a friendly, casual, neither too much nor too distant fashion. The wall of windows actually open and people flow inside and out. The wait staff actually "sneaked"... More

The website said March 6 7-9 pm and the guide did not show... He was call and said "oh... It's next week"... Clearly he forget. Disappointed but not surprised since it is funded by a NASA grant.

The Center offers an endless list of wonderful performances but the Met Opera is very special for many of us. It is a unique opportunity for any of us to get acquainted with music that we probably thought was not for us. You may very well find that you were wrong. It is for you.

When in Jackson, check out the Center for the Arts for any upcoming concert, talk, performance piece. We saw Peter Sagal of NPR's "Wait, Wait" show. The next week Chris Isak was performing. There is a parking lot next to the Center which is handy for going to dinner before the show.

I saw Royal Southern Brotherhood perform here as they passed through Jackson. I was very impressed with the overall quality of the center: nice open lobbies, cool full-height glass wall, and the auditorium had good sound quality. It's an intimate venue (aka small), but to me that makes it better (as long as you can get tickets).
