They make stuff up, you laugh...it's simple! Wonderful fun for the whole family! Be sure to catch shows each summer featuring the truly amazing Tahoe Improv Players! For twenty years The Tahoe iMPRoV Players have been turning audience suggestions into hilarious scenes made up on the spot. Their improv journey began as ComedySportz of Lake Tahoe in 1994. Three years later they evolved into the Tahoe iMPRoV players. They have performed at Valhalla for 18 of their 20 years, and were one of the first theater troupes to perform in the Boathouse Theater after it opened in 2000. "Twenty years! You know what they say ... when time goes by fast, it goes by fast," said Gerry Orton, the troupe's director. Beginning their 21st year, The Tahoe iMPRoV Players are the longest performing theater act in Lake Tahoe. Get your tickets at Valhalla Tahoe.

You don't want to miss this. Coming up on Monday's in July, 2015 at the Valhalla Playhouse. Real make-things-up-on-the-spot improv. SO much fun! And you've got a chance to participate. We enjoyed it so much last year. We're really looking forward to attending this year's performances.

Located next to the Hard Rock in Harveys, Lake Tahoe, this was a great venue to see a show. Not a bad seat. We had a MC and 3 acts. All were funny. Not for children or teens. Rough language and some sexual humor. Definitely an adult show. Would have still been very good and funny without all the f's... More

Sounds like you had a great time at The Improv at Harvey's Tahoe at Stateline- http://www.harveystahoe.com/shows/the-improv-at-harveys.html#.VFvhF-dN0Zw. Tahoe Improv Players are funny folks that have been entertaining around our gorgeous lake and surrounding communities for over 18 years. Come see us next summer at the Valhalla Estate Boathouse for some family friendly hilarity!! More

First going to Valhalla is a must. Get there a bit early, walk down to the beach and the dock and they even serve wine and I think beer at this event. It's all incredibly relaxing. Depending upon the time of year and day you may want some but spray. OK, to the show. Local performers who are very funny.... More

If you have a chance to catch the Tahoe Improv Players at the Boathouse at Vallhala, do so. It is the funniest show with lots of audience participation. For $10, I spent over two hours laughing uncontrollably. It's a family friendly show that will make everyone laugh. Take the kids. Take the grandparents. Everyone will have fun! They only do...
