After spending good money to park and multitudes of people here paying too, you'd think they'd have soap dispensers in the bathrooms. Really ??? No hide nor hair of ever having soap or towels here. I'd give it a 4-5 star if they supplied soap...More

A very nice place to just relax and take in the beautiful nature that surrounds it. The water is so clear! Get there early though. It tends to get crowded!

This was my first time to Lake Tahoe during summer. Pope Beach is located at South Lake Tahoe, the drive over highway 50 has a lot of scenery I enjoyed along with the kids. We rented kayaks and enjoyed nice beach activities.
