This is a quiet getaway perfectly tucked within the pines. There is ample seating available and picnic spots. The wild ducks come running hoping for some fast food. The water is clean and one can easily swim here.

Best beach at a lake I have ever seen! Get there early or you'll be one of the people parking a mile away, hiking in carrying a lawn chair and ice chest.

After spending good money to park and multitudes of people here paying too, you'd think they'd have soap dispensers in the bathrooms. Really ??? No hide nor hair of ever having soap or towels here. I'd give it a 4-5 star if they supplied soap...More

A very nice place to just relax and take in the beautiful nature that surrounds it. The water is so clear! Get there early though. It tends to get crowded!

Park opens at 8:00 am. It is $8.00 per car. Keep in mind that, especially later in the day, the waves can get pretty high and dangerous. The lake is so large, it kind of has the ability to make it's own weather. Most of the... More
