We were here early november morning, nice cool weather, road closed for the season for automobile, we had to walk from the road, about 1/2 mile. Nice sandy long beach overlooking mountain range, lots of picnic and kids play area.

This is a quiet getaway perfectly tucked within the pines. There is ample seating available and picnic spots. The wild ducks come running hoping for some fast food. The water is clean and one can easily swim here.

Best beach at a lake I have ever seen! Get there early or you'll be one of the people parking a mile away, hiking in carrying a lawn chair and ice chest.
