We booked a 2h horsehide to fallen leaf lake and had a great experience. Upon arrival it immediately shows the owners really take care of their horses. The horses are relaxed & approachable and we noticed that they change horses between tours to protect them. We had a talk with the owners and learned that this is a family owned... More

The corral is located passed Pope Beach andCamp Richardson shopping area. Traffics ltrying to get into the P/L for Pope Beach and CR shopping area. Recommend 1-2 hour ride with an appointment. Recommend early rides. Hay rides starting at 5:15.

Had a great time. Our wranglers were both friendly, knowledgeable and enjoyed what they were doing. Make sure to get a reservation, wear long pants and follow their instructions and you'll have a great time.

We went horseback riding two years ago and Camp Richardson Corral, and this was the main thing we wanted to do when we came back this year. First, you'll love the atmosphere around the corral. The staff are great...very helpful, knowledgeable. The guides we've had have been so friendly and have given great tours. The horses basically can do the... More

Was looking for a little fun on our way out of town and took the kids here. My son had never been horseback riding before and it was perfect. They talked him through it and they all had a blast. Looking forward to trying the sleigh rides this winter.

My family and I (son & daughter age 9) are not novices to riding (it is a staple of vacations and they do it at home) and we went into this saying we would get unique perspectives of the lake and mountains...what we got was a whole lot more. We showed up early and instead of having us sit in... More

The guides and hostess and hostess were extremely friendly. We had a party of six with two people novice to horses. They were horse lovers after the one hour trip. The trail was slightly up the mountain and non-threatening. Everyone loved the trip. I highly recommend this.

Not only is Camp Richardson Corral a third generation owned and managed operation of love and pride, our family has made it a tradition of our own and frequent this incredible equine establishment as much as possible. The summer and fall trail rides with spectacular views are a staple for us and when mother nature allows, we love the cozy,... More

Staff was very friendly. Horses were clearly well cared for and very docile trail horses. Trail is beautiful - slight inclines and forested. Nice view of the lake at the top. Tour guide Allison was sweet and informative. Highly recommend this activity!
