Well worth spending an hour or so walking around and looking at this historic preserved village for FREE!! Right on Lake Tahoe easy to get to and parking wasn’t an issue.

Interesting historical site, beautiful views, plenty of places to relax or picnic. Kid and dog friendly. Interesting interactive expereinces. Friendly docents and park rangers. This is a gem for National Parks.

What a joy to travel along the path to view the former Vacation dwellings of the rich and famous of long ago. A great insight into their lifestyle. Free, lots of parking, and lovely views of the lake. Easy trail for the wheelchair.
