It is a very nice place to walk also with kids or dogs, to stay in to the nature and see different kind of birds and the old wooden boots. It is a part of the path from Treviso to Jesolo. A really nice place.

The Sile is a 95 km long river in northern Italy. Its resurgent springs are near Vedelago (Province of Treviso) and it flows into the Venetian lagoon at the port of Piave Vecchia. Near Casier, one can see this cemetery of half-sunken boats in a dead arm of the Sile. This cemetery is due to striking workers of a former oil mill, which sunk 13 traditional transport boats (burci) in the 70s.

Nice place with remaining boat-rest from 100 years ago along a very nice bike/walk-trail .The huge ruin of ex-famous-sunflower-oil-company is dominating the place, pity it is not used for other purposes (hotel, cultural center, disco, conferences, shopping mall , all under one "hood".
