Spend a few hours enjoying the lovely lanes of the old city. They are lined with interesting shops and food vendors. One to two hours is all you need.

I was in Dali before I feel like in heaven here. No crowded masstourism area, friendly relaxed people cheap prices... a must for seeing something old chinese...
