We visited the fortres and the small village, San Leo. The village is small, but very pretty and has a friendly atmosphere. The view is breathtaking, mostly from the fortress. The entry is 9 euro and it is very interesting exhibition.

We were staying nearby on the Italian Riviera and had a trip to San Leo. The weather wasn't that great so we headed off to the fort. It cost about 10 euros each to get in, but there was lots to see. There were dungeons...More

It’s a must see! You learn a lot about history of the region! Rooms, cells, torture tools,... and architecture of the place!

Just excellent, lovely quite central square with a few bars, lovely & peaceful, in September anyway. You park well outside the town & can get an arranged shuttle bus into the square, then walk up to the castle. The walk up is fine. Great views...More

This is a "must stop" for the one travelling in the area. It has been perfectly restored, in the meaning that it has been done with elegance, not in a dazzling way. The content it is interesting and goes from the Middle Age (including torture...More

If you like castles and history with a breathaking view then this is the place to go. Entrance comes at a small fee and you have to walk a bit to get up there. Not to miss!
