It's a nice view & setting to wind down after a whole day adventure out at sea. If only the bats coordinated their timing and all burst out in one giant formation. Heh.

We got there a little before sunset. There were a lot of boats waiting also. When the sun went down suddenly hundreds of bats started pouring up of the forrest. Must have lasted at least 15 minutes. Very impressive. More so that the komodo dragons.

Kanawa have a good spot for snorkeling, and Kalong you can enjoy the magnificent sunset in clear day with the thousand bats going out form that island

Hi, I would suggest to go for a 2 days/ 1 night tour with sleeping on the boat. There are many tour operators in Labuan Bajo proposing such option. Unfortunately personally I can not give you a hint which one to choose... More
