Go mid-week! We had the house to ourself. Some fine rooms and then...the long gallery. Walled garden is a blaze of colour, easily get lost wandering around (and we did in the maze).

Lovely walled garden with a few garden games to keep the children and adults entertained. There is a small wooded area that is nice for a short wander. And a lawned area for relaxing and having a picnic. The house is quite small but interesting...More

Nice day out or nice place to meet friends for coffee. Their caramel lattes rival the big coffee chains. The food is average and the decor doesn't really fit with the Hall's period in history which is slightly disappointing. Overall nice and convenient place to...More

We enjoy Burton Agnes, the house is very interesting and worth a leisurely wander, the gardens are attractive, the woodland walk is good exercise and the walled gardens with lots of outdoor games are always causing interest. However, we visited recently on a cold and...More

I don't recall ever seeing any mobility aids being provided by the Property. It is possible to access large parts of the gardens with your own mobility aids. The walled garden has paved pathways and ramps. The hard gravel... More

Not that I can remember. It's an old house so unlikely - although there may be a service lift installed out of sight somewhere.
