This is a regular visiting place. Great to see pieces made by local artists and a real contrast to other galleries in Mapua. I enjoy hearing the stories of the pieces and how best to display. Lots of cast glass, metal, wood, resin and mixed media. Lovely uniqe pieces.

We went to find this gallery at the address at 3 wood loop as stated on trip advisor but they moved a while ago and are now located at Mapua close to the others shops near the wharf. Don't let this deter you thought as the art is interesting, well laid out/displayed with good variety. A mix of paintings, woven... More

The couple that operates the gallery are accomplished artists in their own right. The gallery also exhibits for sale work by other New Zealand artists. The gallery is due to move soon to Mapua, which is a great little tourist hamlet on the coast about one hour drive south of Nelson, NZ.

We made three magnificent purchases which are already getting many 'oohs and ahhs'. Thank you Karen. We love the way you enthused about all your exhibitors and your own artistic talent is shown off perfectly in the gallery space.

A great Gallery featuring art from artist Karen Walters and her husband jeweler Mike Walters. Karen does magnificent sculptures from local woods and often incorporates pieces of glass or other items. Mike's jewelry is unique and beautiful. We bought one of his pieces and enjoyed talking with him. Gallery features other artists also. Very nicely laid out.

A truly authentic gallery, starting with the fact that the gallery is contained in old shed with the olfloors, walls and timbers exposed. Karen's timber sculptures are the best I have seen ranging from small pieces to large covering a range of themes. The 'pods' in particular are very powerful. Mike's jewellery is superb, and there was a great range... More

Karen & Mike Walters are two very talented artists in completely different ways. Karen is the sculptor of the most stunning pieces out of native timber and Mike is the jeweller manufacturing very unique pieces and their work is stunning. The gallery is in an old apple packing shed on the road between Tasman and Motueka. Make it a must... More
