Mesmerising, breath-taking, amazing, awesome - just some of the words our visitors use when they talk about RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Around a quarter-of-a-million seabirds - including gannets, puffins, kittiwakes and razorbills - flock here in spring and summer to raise their family. Six,safe, cliff top viewpoints give spectacular views of the nesting seabirds and the dramatic coastline. The new Seabird Centre at the heart of the reserve tells the story of the wildlife on the cliffs and why it makes it home here. Three of the viewpoints are fully accessible with a hard surfaced path linking them in a circular route. RSPB Seabird Cruises sail from Bridlington Harbour throughout the season giving visitors an incredible opportunity to see the colony as seabirds swoop and soar all around. In autumn and winter, when mists fall and winds blow, a clifftop walk is a great way to blow away the cobwebs. RSPB Bempton Cliffs - one of the truly unmissable British wildlife spectacles.

Went specifically for the puffins in breeding season, and we were not disappointed. RSPB staff very helpful & informative. Plenty of car parking space for those not wishing to make the walk from Bempton.

My partner is an RSPB member and we went there on her guest pass. I found the sheer number of birds nesting on the cliffs to be an awesome sight - particularly the gannets. The highlight though was spotting and then focusing in on the...More

A must visit, even for those not really interested in birds. From the moment you enter the staff, full time or volunteers, are friendly and obliging. The viewing platforms built above the 300 ft cliffs give you a fantastic view of the many varieties of...More

I'd wanted to visit Bempton Cliffs for a long time, and it still surpassed my expectations. I think it was my most 'Jurassic Park' moment since visiting the Masai Mara in 1998. There are said to be 250,000 seabirds vying for positions on the slenderest...More

Loved Bempton Cliffs I love the wildlife and birds but even just as a day out it's a beautiful place. The RSPB volunteers that are there are fab and point out all the different species through their telescopes. Just a fantastic day.

Thought I would see some nice scenery and if I got lucky, some puffins - but it was breath-taking scenery with the cliffs heaving with birds. What made it extra special were the lovely staff who had so much knowledge to impart as well as...More

Hello - yes, and the puffins were showing well today. Our daily Puffin Patrols run until 21 July. And that's more or less when the puffins start disappearing from the cliffs. So you need to visit soon. However, please... More
