We also came for the 70th anniversary of the liberation of this P.OW./concentration camp, which was a deeply moving event. The exhibition is excellent, with a huge amount of historical detail, and many photographs and artifacts. Would need a minimum of an hour to absorb...More

We came for the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Starlag XB Sandbostel on 29. April.2015 from the UK to remember Freda Laycock (Blackburne) who was a British nurse with the 10th Casualty Clearing Station who arrived with the liberating forces. The conditions were horrendous...More
