We had to go back from the Zero Death March Marker to take photos of the Phi-Jap Friendship Tower. There should be a bigger signage or marker for travellers to know what the site is.

If you travel too fast you might miss this averaged-sized tower. Although this is a great way to symbolize friendship between two countries, it could have been erected higher than what it is. You can walk around and take pictures in a few minutes.

Usually just use as a landmark for travelers going to the great beaches in Bagac. Nice to know the history of it.

Just along the road, one can see this monument commemorating the friendship forged between two countries after fighting during the WWII. Nothing much to see in this area except this monument. Worth stopping by for a few minutes.

Nothing much to see except the tower. Nothing to do aside from taking a picture and moving on to your next destination :)

My husband and I were on our way to Las Casas and we saw the tower. It was along the highway so we just parked our motorbike and took a quick picture with the tower. It was ok. It can be probably incorporated with school...More

The location itself is easy to find (if lost, you may ask the locals) & the entrance fee is affordable. The museum is easy to understand & the cross looks outstanding. The only thing that this monument lacks is that the elevator hasn't been fixed...More

But nowhere to stop and read the plaque or really take in all the tower had to offer. It's in the middle of a busy road.

Going to Bagac town proper you will pass through this tall structure which reminds us of world war 2 and the reconciliation that transpired between the Philippines and Japan. It has a circular iron fence to protect the structure and decorative plants that add to...More
