Nice walk along the beach and the lighthouse. Check the tides before going or you can get stuck there. View from the lighthouse is great.

I was a little worried walking over there, but the sand bar is good at the moment. We did time the tides but enjoyed our picnic over there, been over a couple of times now. The sunset is beautiful as you are walking back.

Amazingly the Spit was uncovered more than I have seen in the last 10 years and easily crossed at low tide. The walk to the lighthouse was not too hard and is on a clear bush path. Loads of spiders in the trees all above...More
