This is a quaint little museum staffed by amazingly friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. There as an assortment of historical relics and is housed in the old courthouse. It is well worth a visit for the paltry $2 admission fee.

Friendly volunteers available to answer any questions. Who would have thought that Morpeth has such a rich and varied history.

We debated whether or not to visit. How glad we were that we did. So much history about our early settlers and the various immigrants many of whom created everyday familiar products. The courthouse experience was interesting.

You can sit in the Judge’s chair and pass sentence Spend time in a cell without being convicted. It was like walking back in time.

It's a great little museum full of interesting titbits on the district. Who would have known Morpeth was a major port in its time. Well worth the price of admission.
