The menu is limited but the food my wife and I had was delicious, not massive portions but beautifully cooked and seasoned. I suppose what we have to remember is it is a VILLAGE pub first. But could not fault food or service.

Cute and rustic really nice location on a sunny day. However the food is limited and overpriced in my opinion. The drinks are also very expensive and there is again little choice for example a mini bottle of prosecco costed over £6!

Delicious food, beautifully presented. The best homemade pea soup with amazing bread followed by venison and monkfish, both prepared to perfection. Never had samphire before but was a perfect choice with the monkfish. First rate!!!

Hi. Black Bull is definitely dog friendly - we take our 2 to pizza night on Thursdays and sometimes for Sunday lunch after a walk. Rarely are they the only dogs there. I did take Dad to pub in his wheelchair and managed but... More
