I booked a 1 day Wave Rock, York, Wildflowers and Aboriginal Culture tour on 22nd May 2015. At the beginning I wasn't really fond on travelling by bus because I thought there would be many people on bus but I was wrong as there were only around 15 people. The pick-up point was very nearby (just the street beside our... More

We booked on the Pinnacle wave rock day tour. Lunch included, pick up from hotel and return to hotel. Visit town of York, with visit to Corrigin a unique cemetery. Visit hippos Yawn, Wave Rock , and Hulkers cave. A big day drive gives great commentary. Highly recommended.

The highlight of this tour was the wave rock at Hyden, amazingly beautiful! This trip was well organized and pact with fantastic itinerary and stops. Although it was a long drive to the final destination and back, we visited many several small towns like York and Babakin. Learned about the legend of the aborigine boy and visited the sacred sites... More

I guess I'm not a big fan of long bus tours then.I did some in Darwin which finished at 6 and that was enough, especially as they start 7.30am. But places in WA are far away but I couldnt find any 2 day tours to this area. From our accomm we decided to take a taxi to the central stop, otherwise we'd... More

Michelle (tour bus driver) was terrific. The litle town of Your was interesting (quick stop for morning tea). The Dog Cemetery was great. Hippo's Yawn, interesting rock formation and then quick stop for lunch (OK food and ordinary service). After lunch Wave Rock, spectacular, walked to the top, great views. Didn't get to see the antique lace collection (mentioned in... More

This tour takes a full day. It's definitely not worth taking this trip for $185.00 per person. You only spend about half an hour @ the Wave Rock and thats it. From 8am to 9pm is spent on the bus with occasionall stops to take a leak. You will be better off watching a free video about this wave rock.... More

First of all, I would like to say that the wave rock is spectacular. And that is the only redeeming factor of this tour. To make the long drive worse, our tour guide spoke in an almost monotonous manner. Lunch was dreadful and at a place called the wildflowers inn or something. It was more like a homemade buffet style... More

This tour involves a lot of driving, which was partly why I took the tour instead of driving myself. One must be willing to sit back, relax or even read a book if the landscape becomes too monotonous. With the exception of the Dog Cemetery (which should be removed from the itinerary) the tour was fine - York, Hippo Yawn... More

This must have been one of the most boring tourist drives I have ever been on. It was hour upon hour of bus travel with little to see. We did stop at a dog cemetery, a town of a dozen or people for an afternnoon tea prepared by the townsfolk which we then had to pay for. I wouldn't have... More
