We have been visiting the Victoria pub for 30 years as it was always possible to get a seat but as it was being refurbished we decided to try this place. It was noisy, had horrible wine, only strong beer and there was hardly anywhere...More

Nicely decorated spacious pub, quiet and clean with friendly staff. Probably a good place to have a 'do' as there are areas that seem to work as cordoned off near the door. Shabby chic look with union jack flags and mismatching interesting chairs. Seems quite...More

I've only been there once and it was very quiet. Nice was able to chat to friends with out being disturbed by music or other people. I would visit again but with work I don't get the time. Definitely worth a visit.

I've dined at this pub on many occasions in the past four years, but haven't visited it much this year - Until last week. They have gone from table service to the dreadful queue up at the bar to place your order and pay! Personally...More

This pub has changed hands recently, much brighter now and some quiet upbeat music. Plenty of great beers, I think there's about 16 draught lagers all premium business, no carlsberg/carling muck! Food is good too, a wide choice if you like burgers and other American...More
