Very friendly owners & staff, made us feel very welcome & very attentive, eg including our beagle who got his own little treat and water bow or the sun suddenly putting in an appearance and immediately the owner/staff placing sun shades up for us & other customers. A few reviews seem harsh and not what we experienced. The menu had... More

We had originally visited the Dutch House five years ago soon after it was first established and we were really looking forward to seeing how the garden had developed and enjoying all the quirky sculptures and interesting features. At present my wife has to use a wheelchair but we checked their website and were reassured to read that the place... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Dutch House today. Crayke is a little difficult to find for those without sat nav but well worth the effort. We both enjoyed beautiful modern paintings and wonderful pottery in The Gallery .We had a lovely lunch in the cafe and we can recommend the soup and the savoury pancake. The wild... I recently visited the café & ordered a savoury pancake with roast squash & goat cheese. This was on the specials board, without a price. When the food came it comprised just one small rolled pancake containing just a few pieces of squash and goat cheese and a very small pot of salad, smaller than the average tea cup! Needless... Very friendly owners and offer a good range of delicious food at a reasonable ( not cheap) food. It has plenty to see and a lovely garden to walk around. Something different.

The menu range is good and the food and drink are tasty. Everywhere is beautifully kept. The gardens are a pleasure to walk round. It is good you can buy some of... More

Called in here for savoury pancakes, cake and tea - all truly excellent, and a beautiful cafe to sit in too. Friendly owner was very chatty. Afterwards we walked around the gardens which were very pretty and inspiring - there was a lovely, living willow house. So good, I had to take some cake home with me for partner. I... More

Tremendous day with the kids making toys from old milk cartons etc. An artist helped the kids who spent hours making an elephant dolphin and lion all for four pounds. Amazing. We then had a lovely lunch with home made cakes. Cafe spotless, relaxed and very child friendly. A must visit for families with young kids. They also do a... More
