We stopped by the Tortoise Centre on our way back from biking to the Wall of Tears, and again with our Naturalist Cruise a few days later. It was great to see tortoises of different species. The indoor exhibits clearly explain the perils for the...More

This was tucked away just a bit. It was interesting to see the turtles of different ages. Glad to know there is a place trying to ensure they prosper. It wasn't big, and didn't take very long to see. Gift shop said they only took...More

Slightly out of the way, but great to walk around, and watch the tortoises. Better to go on a day when they are feeding, as they are much more active. Gorgeous seeing them at all the different ages!
